ONE SMALL THING CAN CHANGE A LIFE FOREVER

Were you given a wristband by a friend, a family member, or maybe even a stranger on the street? I hope it spoke love to you. I hope you were reminded, or perhaps learned for the first time, that the God of all the world, sees you, knows you, and YES, even has good plans in store for you.

You see, when I was 11 years old, my big brother Britt was killed by a drunk driver. Just a few months before that he had discovered that God had good plans for him. He asked God's son, Jesus, into his life, to forgive him for his sin and to become his Savior. He felt forgiven and free, and lived the last few months of his life with a love and passion for Jesus. When he died, the church where he had accepted Jesus came around our family, loved and served us and introduced my mom, dad, sister and me to this Jesus as well. I was told that God had good plans for me too. Each of us accepted Jesus as our personal Lord and Savior, and experienced the same forgiveness and freedom that Britt had received. That change in me set my life on a new course... A life of love, of service, compassion, freedom and more fun than I could have ever imagined! Life following after Jesus is not a boring life. It IS life. And life to the fullest.
